The Newfoundland and Labrador Soccer Association is pleased to welcome Adam Mooi as its
Technical Performance Coordinator.
Adam joins the NLSA having worked in Manitoba, British Columbia and Ontario. He has held
various director positions within club environments, worked for the governing body in
Manitoba, and is also National A coach and a certified coach developer. While in Manitoba, he
completed his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Manitoba majoring in marketing and
human resources.
Adam has experience coaching at many levels and in different environments, ranging from
youth to the Manitoba Regional Excel Centre, Ontario Player Development League and League 1
Ontario. As a player, Adam represented Manitoba at the 2013 Canada Summer Games, has
been part of the Manitoba Regional Training Centre and National Training Centre, and has been
called to multiple Canada Futsal National Team camps from 2018-2019.
In his role as Technical Performance Coordinator, Adam will work closely with NLSA members
on all technical performance programming through the development and performance streams
of Canada Soccer’s Long Term Development model.
“Adam brings a breadth of knowledge, tactical and organizational experience to our team, and
we look forward to having him work with our coaches and players to elevate the game in
Newfoundland and Labrador,” said Mark Marshall, NLSA Executive Director.
