The NLSA is excited to invite qualified and passionate soccer coaches to apply for coaching positions with teams representing their respective regions at the 2026 Newfoundland & Labrador Summer Games.
The NL Summer Games (Aug. 8-15th) are the province’s premier multi-sport event, bringing together talented young athletes from across Newfoundland and Labrador to compete, learn, and grow in a positive and competitive environment. Coaching at the Games is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on athlete development while representing your region on a provincial stage.
We are seeking coaches who:
Demonstrate strong technical and tactical knowledge of soccer
Create a positive, inclusive, and athlete-centered environment
Communicate effectively and lead with professionalism
Are committed to athlete development, teamwork, and fair play
Selected coaches will play a key role in athlete identification and preparation leading up to and during the 2026 Games.
Please note, age groups are as follows: U15 (2011 & 2012 born players) for regions with larger player pools (Avalon, Mount Pearl/South, St.
John's/North), U16 (2010 (maximum of 3), 2011, 2012 born players) for regions with smaller player pools (all others)
