Canada Games One Year Out celebration
The Canada Games Committee is holding a one year out celebration from August 5-11.
The milestone includes a series fo public events ranging from a puzzle hut, to a community baseball game (details below).

Community Baseball Game
The 2025 Canada Games are celebrating One Year Out! Join them at St. Pat’s Ballpark from 6-10
p.m. on Monday, August 5, for a free community baseball game featuring a matchup between the
U21 provincial female baseball team and a team of local special guests.
In addition to the game, there will also be a free BBQ, concerts on the main stage, sports
demonstrations, carnival games, free rally towel for the first 500 guests, a beer garden, and so
much more!
6 p.m. - Doors open. Free rally towel for the first 500 guests
6-6:40 p.m. - Salt Beef Junkies take the stage
6:40-7:06 p.m. Opening Ceremony of the baseball game, introduction of teams, National Anthem
performed by The Brunettes
7:15-9:15 p.m. Baseball game begins on the main field
7:15-8 p.m. - Port-Aux Poutines play on the Mainstage (same time as baseball game)
8:15-9:15 p.m. - KitchinParti plays on the Mainstage

Other Notes:
- Bring your own refillable water bottle and stay hydrated with our portable water station.
- Food drive: bring a non-perishable food item in support of Community Food Sharing
- Shuttle service: with pick-up and drop-off at the Confederation Building during the event from
6-10 p.m. running every 20 minutes.
