New Vice-President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Soccer Association

We are thrilled to announce Florian Villaumé as the new Vice-President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Soccer Association (NLSA). Florian, who joined the NLSA Board of Directors in 2023, was selected by his peers this fall to serve as Vice-President until the 2025 Annual Members Meeting, following the process outlined in the NLSA Bylaws.

A passionate soccer player and supporter, Florian is an entrepreneurial leader with a strong commitment to creating and driving impactful initiatives. He holds a Bachelor's in Engineering, a Master's in Science, and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. Since becoming the CEO of techNL in May 2022, Florian has led the organization through a remarkable period of growth, expanding its project portfolio tenfold. Prior to joining techNL, Florian founded the Memorial Centre for Entrepreneurship, building it into an internationally recognized, award-winning institution.

We are excited to have him bring his wealth of experience, vision, and enthusiasm to his new role with the NLSA. Florian is dedicated to continuing to strengthen the organization's strategic performance while creating an environment where all players, regardless of gender, background, or location, feel welcome and supported.
