NLSA Announces New Executive Director

[May 7, 2024] - St. John’s, NL - The Newfoundland and Labrador Soccer Association (NLSA) is pleased to welcome Charlie Reid as its new Executive Director.

A graduate of Memorial University’s Faculty of Business (B.Comm. Co-op), Charlie has worked in business development, strategy, project management and customer service roles, and was a member of the executive team at Skyhawk Telematics. He was most recently Director of Business Development & Culture with digital health start up PragmaClin Research, focused on developing and executing the company’s market strategy, including developing team culture and related initiatives.

A passionate supporter of the game at the local level, Charlie has been a parent volunteer, team manager for NLSA and Feildians teams and has served on the Feildians Athletic Association Board of Directors.

As Executive Director, Charlie will be responsible for the leadership and management of the overall strategic direction, operations and growth of the NLSA.

“We’re excited to have someone with Charlie’s background and capabilities to lead the organization,” said NLSA President Chris Bartlett.  “His focus on critical thinking, collaboration and building effective teams will be an important part of positioning the NLSA for future success.”

Charlie’s first official day with the NLSA will be May 13.
