You have been identified and selected by our Vancouver Whitecaps FC Girls Elite National Development Centre staff to participate in an exclusive identification event held by Canada Soccer in partnership with Quebec Soccer, as part of a ‘Rest of Canada’ squad competing at the event.
The inaugural National Development Centre Competition from Nov 21-25, 2022 in Laval, Quebec consists of 8 teams split across 2 divisions:
- National Development Centre Ontario x 2
- National Development Centre BC (Vancouver Whitecaps FC Girls ELITE Academy) x 2
- National Development Centre Quebec (PEF - Quebec Programme EXCEL Feminin) x 2
- Rest of Canada Squad x 2
The event supports the next cycle of intakes for Women’s National EXCEL teams in 2023/2024.

Players identified for the Rest of Canada squad have been selected by our staff in Vancouver from REX centres in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and New Brunswick, as well as players currently competing in universities across Canada and the USA.
Players participating in this event are within the 2008-2004 birth years, and the competition will be split into a Junior division (2008-2006) and Senior division (2006-2004).
You have been selected to be part of the Junior Rest of Canada team for this event.
