Interim Competitions Committee

Skillset required:
All members of the committee should have a knowledge of competitions within the NLSA.
Familiarity with competitions Nationally would be an asset.

Role of the Committee:
The Competitions Committee is responsible for all aspects of the Jamborees, Leagues and
Tournaments that come under the direct authority of the NLSA.

Responsibilities:
- Develop the Rules of Competition for all Jamborees, Leagues and Tournaments under
the direct authority of the NLSA.
- Review the Rules of Competition annually.
- Interpret the Rules of Competition throughout the season.
- Review schedules for all Jamborees, Leagues and Tournaments as developed by NLSA
staff.
- Appoint a Match Commissioner to oversee all Jamborees, Final Weekends in Leagues
and Mega Tournaments.
- Appoint a Committee Member to oversee the seasonal running of all Provincial Leagues
at the youth and senior levels.
